With our new European office, we see this as the beginning of another exciting chapter. We are excited to share that we received the IDEAT Design For The Extraordinary · ASKO Awards for our project “HARMAY Aranya”, in the Best Commercial Architecture & Space category.

This project is important to us, as it highlights our on-going research on what it means to activate streets, buildings, and cities, by adding values to public spaces. In Aranya, we built “outward” by extending the use of a retail space to a wider group of people.

Two of our projects have been nominated for theArchdaily Building of the Year Awards in the Commercial Architecture category! Feeling proud of our team in China, Belgium, and USA, and thrilled to continue our exploration of what it means to activate buildings, cities, and society, but also create stronger connections with people and reinvent an inspiring future for old places and neighborhoods. About the Projects:

Studio 9 presents a new concept in furniture retail conceived with the design community at its heart, a space to meet, collaborate, and progress. Situated on the ground floor of a former textile factory in a quiet street of JingAn’district, a rich program of events centered around design and people bring the space to life, creating a new destination in Shanghai’s cultural scene. Taking cues from the building’s former history and the rawness of its concrete structure, the design underscores the contrast between existing architecture and added elements that refine, organize, and soften.

HARMAY Aranya is a cosmetic store located in a coastal town that feels like a mirage, in the northern city of Qinhuangdao. This new store, part of our long-term collaboration with Harman, is all about activating public spaces and shifting the customer experience outside the store.

We are thrilled to have received three awards from ELLE DECORATION China for our three projects. It is a real honor to be selected and included in the book of 2023 ELLE DECORATION China Interior Design Annual. Thank you ELLE DECORATION China! Wallpaper China Design Awards 2022 – Best Interior Design

This award focuses on the interior field, and selects beautiful, practical and stylish interior design projects in a wide range of living spaces, office spaces, and commercial spaces, which not only combine the functional requirements of specific spaces, but also consider the user experience. The award selects the projects completed between 2021 and 2022. Regardless of private space or public space, the project can provide suitable solutions from the perspective of interior design.

We are delighted to announce that AIM Architecture project “Taoxichuan Hotel, in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt” has been awarded the Asian Architectural Design Winner at the LIV Hotel Design Awards 2021.
