AIM wins Gold Prize at the 2020 WIN Awards

Our HARMAY Beijing store has been named a Gold Winner at this year’s WIN Awards in the Independent shops or small chains category!

what the judges say: this is a very strong entry with a great use of storytelling about product logistics/manufacture and display. The industrial space on the ground floor is bold and well articulated. And contrasting to the industrial ground floor, the smaller rooms in the upper level lend a variety of opulence and character. Sleek design, fun story, beautiful and exciting pods!
Bold concept executed well. Contrast between industrial and sleek is refreshing.
Quriky, unusual, interesting spaces. Great story.

“World Architecture Festival is one of the world largest interactive awards that gives our peers and industry leaders an opportunity to share and spread our ideas internationally. It is a great honor for me to be the judge of the WAF Awards again since 2016. The celebration itself is also a challenging and inspiring learning experience. I wish all the designers a good luck for this year’s award and see you soon in Amsterdam!”

About HARMAY HONG KONG

Picture this: A bustling, winding, narrow Hong Kong street, packed with shops, restaurants, and food stalls. Shutter gates open and close each storefront; inside, the shelves teem with packages and products. You almost don’t notice it. But still, a second glance – a perforated steel facade, LED lighting, an organized, almost austere unexpected interior, inviting you in from the outside.

AIM Earns a Spot on the AD100 List for the Third Time
AIM Earns a Spot on the AD100 List for the Third Time

A big hurrah for AIM Architecture! We have been included on the AD100 China list for 2017! Announced last Friday, this biennial list is compiled by Architectural Digest, and it honors the most influential and inspiring architects and designers across the country.

Landing us a third achievement was our architectural design project, Jiaxing Island, a communal complex that challenges China’s industrial boom. Designed in conjunction with More Architecture, Jiaxing flaunts assorted functionality and a human-oriented layout finished with a Spanish sandstone façade.
